A successful open meeting was staged on Sunday. There were many good performances, the results are/will be available on the club’s website.
Off Track Distance Races
Angus McMillan made his debut for Scotland in the Cardiff 5k on Sunday. Angus broke the club 5k record with 14.28. Ed Mezzetti ran 18.16 at the latest 5k race on the York University cycle circuit on Friday night.
13 of our members took part in parkrun over the weekend with more juniors than seniors completing one. William Keens took his Saturday morning win at Easingwold in 17.49 with Kaitlin coming 2nd in 21.32. Isaac Bastow won at Cleethorpes in 17.41. Ollie Wright came 2nd in the York Junior Parkrun in a very good time of 6.43 but it too the 3rd fastest time on the course of 6.37 to beat him.
